Upcoming Workshop and Thoughts on Ladyfest

I just want to let everyone know that I'll be teaching a workshop at Atelier Wooden Apples this Friday December 7th. The focus is on gift making ideas for the Holidays. I'll be teaching folks how to make a basic lip balm, and also the basic method for making a bath bomb. It's called Balms and Bombs and starts at 4pm for $35. Also, James and I have returned from Ottawa where we spent Saturday selling Honey Flower to the craft-hungry crowds at Ladyfest's Not Your Grandma's Holiday Craft Sale. We had a blast! It was pretty much non-stop chatting, selling, sampling, shopping and cupcake eating all day long. The Ottawa folks we met were extremely lovely, especially my table-neighbours from Pink Wagon where I bought a super hat, mittens, and owl print bag to feed my new owl obsession. Needless to say, by the time we returned to Montreal, ducked into the December vernissage at HQ for some art browsing, new vintage jeans, and christmas cookie tasting, and made our way to bed, we were pooped! It was definitely worth it though, so we'll be back to beautiful Ottawa for the next Ladyfest event in the spring!

The first giant snowfall here in Montreal has been a welcome excuse to stay inside and work on blogging and production!
