The Christmas chocolate has finally be devoured, the gingerbread house has been hammered and sent away to the land of sweet-teeth, and the tree is coming down this weekend!
I'm a little sad to see the holidays come to an end, but I always feel amazing at the start of a new year. For me it's chance to make new resolutions, to face new goals and challenges, and to detox my body and my home. Of course, every year I say that I'm going to eat less sugar... let's see if I can stick to it this time! (The first step was giving away the candy encrusted gingerbread house)
December was a fantastic month in the land of Honey Flower. We started the month off with the Ladyfest 'Not Your Grandma's Holiday Craft Sale' in Ottawa, Ontario. I was completely blown away by the incredible craft community, and the resident's love and support of handcrafted products. The organizers were really lovely people and even served us up a free curry lunch! Yummmm! We plan on visiting Ottawa again in the new year, and will keep you posted on new stores where Honey Flower may become available in the Ottawa area.
We followed up the Ladyfest sale with 2 Montreal shows in 1 jam-packed weekend. James and Cheeba kept the crowds happy at the Hot Cakes craft sale in the Mile-End neighbourhood. I stayed downtown at the beautifully organized and designed Souk @ Sat. The Souk was designed and categorized like the rooms in an apartment, with my table located in the master bedroom. There was a bar and a cafe, and the sale lasted well into the evening on all 4 days. Both sales were a wonderful success. I even completed all of my Christmas shopping before heading home in a giant snowstorm!
Now on to 2008! Thank you for your support and encouragement over the past year. As always, be sure to pass on your comments and suggestions so that we can keep improving our line of products for you to love.
Love and Health,
Angela
